BAS Preparation & Lodgement

Our team prepares and lodges your Business Activity Statement with the ATO on your behalf, as registered BAS agents.

Pricing

Quarterly BAS: $140/quarter ($35/month average)

Monthly BAS: $70/month

Service Includes

  • Review of GST-coded transactions for accuracy
  • Preparation of BAS from reconciled books
  • Client review and approval workflow
  • Lodgement with ATO as registered BAS agent
  • Retention of lodgement records

Service Timeline

Quarterly BAS:

Documents due: 5th of month following quarter-end

BAS prepared: 15th of month

Client approval: By 20th of month

Lodged with ATO: By 25th of month (3 days before ATO deadline)

Monthly BAS:

Documents due: 5th of following month

BAS prepared: 12th of month

Client approval: By 18th of month

Lodged with ATO: By 21st of month

Prerequisites

  • Active ADVANCR bookkeeping subscription (any tier)
  • Books reconciled and up-to-date
  • All source documents provided by cutoff date

Not Included

  • Tax planning or GST advisory
  • Representation in ATO disputes
  • Historical BAS amendments (quoted separately)

Payroll Processing

Full-service payroll processing including pays, superannuation, and STP lodgement—managed directly in your accounting software.

Pricing

Up to 5 employees: $150/month

6-10 employees: $250/month

11-20 employees: $350/month

Service Includes

  • Processing of employee pays in your accounting software
  • Calculation of PAYG withholding
  • Superannuation calculations and journal entries
  • STP lodgement to ATO
  • Posting of payroll journals to general ledger
  • Maintenance of employee pay records

Service Timeline

Pay instructions due: 2 business days before pay date

Pays processed: 1 business day before pay date

STP lodged: On pay date

Payroll journals posted: Within 3 business days of pay run

Prerequisites

  • Active ADVANCR bookkeeping subscription (any tier)
  • Payroll must be processed in same accounting software as bookkeeping (Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online)
  • Employee details and onboarding documents provided during setup

Not Included

  • Payroll setup for new businesses (one-time setup fee applies)
  • Employee onboarding administration
  • Workplace relations or Fair Work advice
  • Leave management systems
  • Workers compensation administration

Catch-Up Bookkeeping

Historical bookkeeping to bring your accounts current before commencing ongoing service.

Pricing

$249 per month requiring catch-up

Charged regardless of selected ongoing package (Core, Momentum, or Velocity).

Example: 6 months requiring catch-up = $249 × 6 = $1,494 (one-time charge). Ongoing package billing then commences.

Service Includes

  • Review and reconciliation of historical months
  • Transaction coding and categorisation
  • Bank and account reconciliations for catch-up period
  • GST coding (where applicable)
  • Document attachment and audit trail creation
  • Identification of issues requiring client clarification

Typical Completion Timeline

Catch-up work is prioritised during onboarding phase:

1-3 months catch-up: 2-3 weeks

4-6 months catch-up: 3-4 weeks

7-12 months catch-up: 4-6 weeks

Prerequisites

  • Access to accounting software and bank accounts
  • All bank statements and source documents for catch-up period
  • Completed intake form with business context

Not Included

  • Historical BAS preparation (available as separate add-on)
  • Correction of errors made by previous bookkeeper (quoted separately if extensive)
  • Setup of accounting software (included in onboarding)

How to Add Services

Add-ons can be:

  • Selected during initial subscription
  • Added to an existing subscription at any time via your client portal
  • Removed with 30 days notice

All add-ons are billed monthly alongside your base package subscription.
