Is It Right for You?
Is Core Right for Your Business?
Core is built for small businesses that need clean, reliable bookkeeping without any of the add-ons. It's the right fit if you're a sole trader or small team with straightforward transaction volume, you don't yet need payroll processing or BAS lodgement handled for you, and you mainly need your bank feeds reconciled and your books kept audit-ready for your accountant. Many Core clients add BAS preparation or payroll as a separate add-on once their business grows — you're never locked in, and moving to Momentum or Velocity is a plan change, not a new contract. If your business already processes payroll for multiple staff or needs monthly management reporting, Momentum is usually a better starting point.
Catch-Up Bookkeeping
Behind on your books?
If your books require historical clean-up, catch-up months are charged at the Core rate regardless of your selected ongoing package. Catch-up bookkeeping is charged as a one-time line item added to your initial subscription payment — there is no separate invoice or additional checkout step.
Rate: $249 per month of catch-up required
Example: 6 months behind = $249 × 6 = $1,494 (one-time)
